Cozy Café with homemade and handmade sweet and savory foods, fantastic local coffee and charming service.
A nice cafe away from the Hackesche Höfe with delicious home-baked cakes and home-made ice cream. Definitely visit!
Wonderful café, great range of cakes and small dishes and an unbelievably large selection of variations of the classic "cold dog"! Vegans will also find something here. Highly recommended 😊👍
A tiny yet excellent and charming place.
I really like the shop and go there regularly. Standing straw in the milkshake and colorful dogs speak for themselves ...
Nice little pretty shop with a selection of different cold dogs, e.g. with currant, strawberry, matcha. Very nice staff. You can sit in front of the café in the new Sophienstraße, which is already quiet compared to Rosenthaler Straße / Hackescher Markt.
Very tasty cake and good coffee.
We had a pleasant break here with delicious moccachino and a wonderful chocolate chocolate shake that makes you happy. Nice chat with the owner. The "cold dogs" are reminiscent of childhood.
Always delicious. Super friendly service. Small talk for free. Delicious latte with a picture. Keep it up and all the best!
Very friendly. Finally a cold dog again. A must to stop here.
I always eat freshly baked waffles here. And the cappuccino with oat milk is also very tasty. Always including milk foam artwork.
Good cold dog, had the vegan version, but you have a larger selection at the counter 😍👌
Small and nice for lovers of cold dogs and other small treats. For my taste, the cold dog should contain a few more cookies and a little less fat filling. Even then it is not an easy "cake", it shouldn't be either. But the mix is a little more tolerable. This also meant my companion. Otherwise: a nice little shop. In front of the door in summer.
I was here with my girlfriend this afternoon, super nice. Many thanks 🤗 to the young man for very nice service. Was very cozy, relaxing, you almost feel at home😉
We discovered the café by accident today and can recommend it to anyone who wants to take a little break. The homemade ice cream leaves nothing to be desired. There is also a good selection of cakes or waffles away from ice.
Cute little neighborhood treat, very friendly staff and owner, great sweets and coffee
Uff .. The feeling after the 3 cold dog. You can `unfortunately` only stop eating when you are about to burst! There are still a few moments when I think back. The next visit is coming soon!
Very friendly staff and nice caffee and food. So nice to visit when you want to switch off from coty business.
A small homely world with delicious soups, cakes and lots of drinks, especially coffee. Furthermore, you can comfortably look at books (some with pictures before / after the turning point, even from Berlin-Mitte). So an ideal place to switch off.
Fun to sit in place, quiet street and all delicious
An issue I have with Berlin is that I hardly ever feel truly welcome in cafés; Eisenbergs is an exception. The owner was very friendly and interested in my visit. I had a waffle with chocolate cream and it was delicious, a great combination of crispiness and softness. Will definitely come back!
Very friendly owner, delicious food, just great. We recommend! The unfriendly employee is probably dismissed, there is no reason to fear racist remarks. Save this store with positive comments!
The best coffee and traditional German cake, try the kalter hund
Great coffee, delicious hand-made pastry and desserts, cute decoration and the nicest batista! Best spot in that area
Café Eisenberg is one of my favorite cafes in Mitte. It’s a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the owner Tobi is always super nice and puts a lot of effort in details. Whenever I’m there, I’ve got the feeling that every guest feels good. Please keep on doing this great work, Berlin and its colorful people needs special and lovely places like this! 5 Stars!!
Super cosy small treasure in the heart of Berlin! Everything you need for a small break from the hectic city life; delicious coffee, superb cakes and cookies as well as small homemade snacks. And, last but not least, super nice and welcoming staff. The owner and his team are very committed to making the stay of their customers as pleasant as possible. I can’t understand the recent bullocks about racist comments etc., me and my multinational family are always nicely welcomed and treated as respectful and polite as one would expect in an international city like Berlin. Probably the guys complaining have misunderstood something (maybe even on purpose)... To cut it short, 5 stars - go there and enjoy!!!
You really feel like you're part of the neighborhood when you visit and super welcoming. Might have the best quiche and banana bread in Berlin. It's a required stop if you are in Mitte.
My favorite family style coffee place in the neighbourhood! Thanks to Tobi, his friendly stuff and all the self-made treats I survive every day struggle. Keep the good work up! xoxo Lisa
Racist place
Nice cozy place. Tobias, owner of place, was very kind and presented nicely his desserts, we tried german speciality Kaltes Hunde, it was OK and we are glad that we tried something local, but real stars were crumble and passion fruit cake, really delicious. Nice offer of green teas and great coffee with nice picture.
From the perfect cake to the very good coffee this is the best place for short break
Warm mood and also delicious Kalter Hund
Very nice and friendly staff! :)
found my favourite café on my trip! the cake and coffee both tasted amazing!
Tasty cake and a very cute coffe with a foam snail! Loved it.
tiny little coffee shop. the owner is friendly and helpful, we shated the classic kalter huud (chocolate fudge type cake with sweet crackers inside) and each had a coffee. the cake is so sweet i definitely recommend sharing it. prices are good, there’s free wifi, the only downside is that it is cash only :(
Gluten-free cakes and soups. Wonderful coffee and great conversation with the boss. Of course we will come back. An insider tip.
Love this place... back here after 2 years from my last visit ... they have a delicious collection of cakes.
Nice coffee and sweets.
The best Opera in Town
Really nice little shop with super nice owner. I could never have imagined a cold dog with different tastes. Absolutely delicious.
Nice Kate hunde!
The Cold Dog cake is amazing. The coffee is great and the owner is super kind and helpful
Cake is completely overestimated - tiny pieces!! And really no big choice (literally only „kalter Hund“). Personnel is nice but clearly no barrista - just helping out! Too little Coffee in the Latte Macchiato. Overall, very disappointing but probably nice for tourists...
Just the perfect place for a coffe and a cake
Be sure to try the COLD DOG. Whatever kind. Owner is friendly, facing. The FlatWhite was not quite my taste. But that is a subjective view. Can only recommend the location.
Excellent housemade cakes. Must try the Kalter Hund. Reasonable prices. Charming interior. Great tea and coffee options. Lots of cake shops in Germany buy their cakes from factories and thus this is becoming a rarity.
This little cafe around the corner of Sandro in Hackschemarkt is always delightful. Gluten free cakes or soothing sorbet make me happy. The owner who makes each cake
Punk ! And rock...
We had lovely sandwiches with fresh bread. The pear milkshake was delicious as was the matcha tea. The owner was very friendly and helpful too. The selection of cakes looked wonderful, it was a shame we both already felt so full.
Very friendly staff, great price, nice atmosphere, and amazing food! I was going to take a picture but I completely forgot because the food was so good!
